All trademarks within the Standards are the property of their respective owners. Accreditation Canada reserves the right to change any information contained in the Standards at any time and without notice.
Subject to your compliance with these terms, including your payment of the applicable fees, Accreditation Canada International gives limited permission for you to reproduce, distribute, retransmit, or reprint solely for non-commercial, personal or internal use within an Organization you represent for the specifically stated Purpose, all or part of the Standards as long as the copyright notice and proper citations and permissions are included. Internal use is limited to a network of up to 30 individuals. All other use, reproduction, distribution, retransmission, or reprinting, including, without limitation, for non-commercial or commercial use or within or outside of your Organization, is expressly prohibited unless Accreditation Canada International has granted prior written consent or you have obtained the appropriate license by writing to email@example.com.
The purpose for which you may use the Standards is as follows (“Purpose”):
If you are:
- A representative of a healthcare accreditation body, a healthcare organization, or a collaboration center, the Purpose is limited to evaluation of the Standards in relation to health care improvement, assessment or accreditation activities.
- A representative of a registered educational institution (g., university, college), the Purpose is limited to use as part of educational sessions or as education material.
- A representative of an organization conducting research in the area of health care improvement, assessment or accreditation activities, the Purpose is limited to use for conducting such research.
THE STANDARDS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND ACCREDITATION CANADA, ACCREDITATION CANADA INTERNATIONAL, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, SURVEYORS, SUPPLIERS AND SUBCONTRACTORS EACH SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS FOR SUCH STANDARDS, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PURPOSE OR AGAINST INFRINGMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS AND IN NO EVENT SHALL ACCREDITATION CANADA, ACCREDITATION CANADA INTERNATIONAL, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, SURVEYORS, SUPPLIERS AND SUBCONTRACTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH USE OF THIE STANDARDS (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, ANTICIPATED OR LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF USE OF ANY INFORMATION SYSTEM, FAILURE TO REALIZE EXPECTED SAVINGS OR ANY OTHER ECONOMIC LOSS, OR ANY THIRD PARTY CLAIM), WHETHER ARISING IN NEGLIGENCE, TORT, STATUTE, EQUITY, CONTRACT (INCLUDING FUNDAMENTAL BREACH), COMMON LAW, OR ANY OTHER CAUSE OF ACTION OR LEGAL THEORY EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF THOSE DAMAGES.
